Our wedding was catered for by The Cellar Door, the food provided was amazing in both presentation and taste. The guests all reported how they had had a fantastic culinary experience, with comments of “it’s the best food they had ever tasted”. It’s incredible how they can cater for so many and the presentation and taste be so impeccable. Every course from the canapés to the desert were outstanding, each time guests were looking forward to what came next as it was so tasty. The organisation skills were so apparent, it all ran like a well oiled machine with Charlie and Dan at the helm. They made the whole planning of the wedding much easier as we were confident in them right from the start. Also, the excellent service from their attentive staff truly enhanced the overall experience of the wedding reception. I couldn’t recommend this company enough, they wowed our guests, and catered for all dietary requirements without any issues. Charlie and The Cellar Door team catered our wedding on Saturday. We cannot recommend them enough. From the initial food tasting, phone calls, emails, organising hire prep in the lead up, we always felt looked after. Our wedding food was incredible, everything was absolutely perfect. So many people complimented the food. The lamb was insane and the homegrown vegetables from their garden in Bugford was such a lovely touch. And wow a dessert board of dreams. Also a big thanks for the front of house team in all the prep before guests arrived at the marquee, nothing was ever too much trouble and they were brilliant at checking in with me throughout the day, super grateful. Thank you Charlie & team! We hired Charlie to cater an event in the area. Delicious food, wonderfully presented and a calm and efficient team. We would definitely use them again and would highly recommend them to anyone needing an exceptional catering service. |
It was a fantastic weekend, and your quiet efficiency in providing such excellent food for both Saturday and Sunday was exemplary. The dishes were imaginative and delicious, all appearing effortlessly, without any fuss. Many letters we received from friends and family who attended all said it was the best wedding food they had ever had. We were very grateful to have Dan, Charlie and staff at The Cellar Door cater our wedding in Devon. All our guests were very impressed with the food saying it is some of the best food they have ever tasted let alone wedding food! They were extremely warm as well as professional as were all the staff catering and serving at our wedding. The food was delicious, fresh and local. I cannot recommend them enough! Charlie and Dan provided our wedding catering - we had a three course meal on the Saturday and brunch on the Sunday morning. Their personal service from start to finish has been incredible, they were so flexible and willing to work with us on our menu choices and nothing was too much. The food itself was out of this world, we couldn’t have asked for anything more! The service throughout both days was impeccable - I really can’t recommend Charlie and Dan enough. The Cellar Door provided our wedding catering and they genuinely couldn’t have done a better job. They created us an all vegetarian menu and it was delicious, largely locally sourced and beautifully presented. Charlie and the team were excellent and communicating with us before and during the event and they provided a 5 star service. Many of the guests commented on how exceptional the catering was and I’d definitely recommend to others. They were very good value as well when compared to other vendors, all around a brilliant job! |
